Some basic guidance about Bible translations: Use one that you will read. Yes, there are versions that are technically more "accurate" than others, but a translation's accuracy isn't relevant if due to the way that translation reads, we don't read it! So we recommend that you find a translation that works for you.

- English Standard Version
- New Revised Standard Version
- Common English Bible (though not a translation per se, this is a VERY readable version, wonderful for devotional reading).
